Cornarea ligt in Canale, in het hart van de Roero, tussen de heuvels van Cornarea, in Piemonte, in Italië. Het huis heeft vijftien hectare wijngaard, aangeplant met Arneis en Nebbiolo. Halverwege de jaren zeventig plantten Piero en Francesca hier Arneis, een streekeigen ras dat in de Roero bijna verdwenen was. Dat gaf sterke resultaten. Piero en Francesca werken nu samen met hun zonen Gian Nicola en Pierfranco. Samen bewaken zij de traditie van Cornarea en mikken zij op de hoogst mogelijke kwaliteit.

Cornarea is in Canale, in the heart of Roero, among the hills of Cornarea, in Piedmont, in Italy. The estate has fifteen hectares of vineyard, planted with Arneis and Nebbiolo. In the mid-1970s Piero and Francesca planted Arneis here, a local variety that had almost vanished in Roero. That brought strong results. Piero and Francesca now work with their sons Gian Nicola and Pierfranco. Together they keep the Cornarea tradition and aim for the highest possible wine quality.
